where can I find my confirmation code?

To find your Confirmation Code, please check your text messages from Qtego. Once you enter your confirmation code you will receive your personal bidding link.

can I participate using my computer or tablet?

Yes, you sure can! You can enter your mobile phone number here on the QLINK. Qtego will send you a 6 digit code to confirm your mobile number. Enter the 6 digit code and the site will automatically sign you into your QSITE.

how do I place a bid?

Through the QSite (personal bidding website)

Step 1: Click the Auction Items button. Find the item you would like to bid on.

Step 2: Click the photo or description of that item.

Step 3: The Starting Bid or Current Bid will be shown. It will automatically add the bid increment, if necessary. Click SUBMIT to place your bid.

NOTE: If you would prefer to set a Max Bid, Qtego will automatically bid for you until you either win the item or are outbid. Enter the highest amount you are willing to pay for the item. You will be notified via text message if you are outbid.

By Texting:
You can also reply to any Qtego text message with the item number and your click amount. Ex: To bid $100 on Item 201, you would text: 201 100

Once your bid has been placed, you will receive a confirmation text from Qtego.

how does the max bid feature work?

When you place a Max Bid, you enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay for the item. Other bidders will NOT know your Max Bid. Qtego will place bids on your behalf starting at the next bid increment for the item’s current high bid. Your Max Bid will increase the current high bid only by the bid increment, up to your maximum amount.

If another bidder places the same Max Bid as you, the person who placed their Max Bid FIRST will be the High Bidder. If another bidder outbids your Max Bid by the bid increment or more, Qtego will notify you so you can place another bid if you choose.

MAX BID SCENARIO – EXAMPLE #1:

The current bid for an item is $100 with a $10 increment. Tom is the high bidder and has placed a maximum bid of $120 on the item.

Laura places a Max Bid of $150. Tom's bid is raised to his maximum of $120. Laura's bid is now $130 and she is now the High Bidder. Qtego sends Tom a text that he has been outbid. If he doesn't raise his Max Bid, Laura will win the item.

MAX BID SCENARIO – EXAMPLE #2:

The current bid for an item is $100 with a $10 increment. Tom is the high bidder and has placed a maximum bid of $120 on the item.

Laura places a bid of $111. Laura becomes the High Bidder despite Tom's Max Bid of $120 because his max bid is not $10 higher than Laura's bid of $111 (Tom's max bid of $120 isn't high enough to cover the next bid increment). Tom would need to bid at least $121 to be the high bidder.

how do I watch the live stream via qtego?

Click the orange LIVE STREAM button OR the Item Showcase button to open the stream. Make sure the video is unmuted and your volume is turned on. Enjoy the show!

can I watch from my computer or tablet?

Yes, you sure can! You can either:

Go to the QLink and enter your mobile phone number and enter your confirmation code. The system will sign you into your QSITE.

Then, click the orange LIVE STREAM button to watch the show!

why is the live stream button not working?

If you were prompted to enter a Streaming Code when you registered and did not, you will need to re-register with the Streaming Code for the Live Stream button to show.

If you were not required to enter a Streaming Code upon registration and the Live Stream button is not showing, please check with the organization on where to view the show.

why is the live stream window black?

If the window is black, the stream is not currently active. The show will either begin shortly or it has ended.

Please check your text messages for updates on delayed start times.

how do I see what credit card I used to register?

First sign in, then click the My Profile button to see the last 4 digits of the card you have registered. The full card number is encrypted for PCI Compliance standards.

can I change my credit card on file?

Yes! Simply go to the My Profile on your QSITE and fill in the form under Add a Credit Card.

will I receive a receipt?

Yes! You will receive a text with a receipt once your payment has been processed.

Step 1: Click the DONATE button.
Step 2: Choose a pre-determined amount OR type in any amount you would like to give.
Step 3: Click Submit!

By Texting:
You can also donate via texting. Simply respond with GIVE and the amount to any Qtego text message. Ex: GIVE 100 makes a $100 donation

what is an instabuy?

Instabuys are items that can be purchased at a set cost. You do not bid on these items! Ex: Raffle Tickets, Wine Pulls, T-Shirts, etc.

how do I purchase an instabuy?

Through the QSite (personal bidding website):
Step 1: Click the INSTABUY button.
Step 2: Find the Instabuy you would like to purchase. Click on the photo or description of the item.
Step 3: Enter the quantity you would like to buy and click Submit!

By Texting:
You can also purchase an Instabuy via texting if you know the Instabuy Item Number. Simply respond with BUY and the Item Number to any Qtego text message. Ex: BUY 850 will purchase Item 850.

how do I place a vote?

Through the QSite (personal bidding website):
Step 1: Click the VOTE button.
Step 2: Find the item you would like to Vote on. Click on the photo or description of the item.
Step 3: Enter the number of Votes and click Submit!

By Texting:
You can also Vote via texting if you know the Vote Item Number. Simply respond with VOTE, the Item Number and the quantity to any Qtego text message. Ex: VOTE 700 50 will place fifty votes on Vote Item 700.

where can I see the items I have bid on?

Click the My Activity button on the QSite (personal bidding site). You will be able to see all event activity – including bids, donations, buys and votes.

If you the highest bidder, a smiley face will be shown. If you’ve been outbid, a sad face will appear. You can also see any items you are watching on this page!

help! what if I placed an accidental bid or donation?

We understand mistakes happen. If you need assistance, please email Qtego the Item Number or Donation Amount, the reason why your bid or donation needs to be removed and the event you are participating in. We will happily help!
